(students pile into green house 3 and sit down in front of Professor Sprout)
"Hello Class! Today we will be learning about the [glow=limegreen,2,300]DEVIL'S SNARE![/glow]
Devil's Snare is a long, dark green plant with brilliant green thorns. This plant is highly dangerous, for it can suffocate human bodies, if the y make contact with them. (Sprout pauses, and then says the next thing in a dangerous whisper) First it wraps its snaky tendrils around your body so silently, you don't notice a thing. Then it sqeezes your body until you suffocate... and DIE! (students gasp, and Sprout smiles, apparently satisfied that she scared them) On the contrary, you can survive. The only way, however, is to cast the LUMOS CHARM on Devil's Snare, and it'll let go of you and sink, for it prefers dark places and doesn't like light. You can also cast the BLUE BELL FLAMES CHARM on it, which is more efficiant." says Professor Sprout, reading from One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi. (students listen intently on what she said, writing it down of sheets of parchment) "Ok, for homework, I would like you to answer the questions on the board. Class Dismissed!" (She smiles at the students, as the read the board, write down its contents, say good bye and hurry out to their next class)
1. What does Devil's Snare do to kill humans? Explain the PROCESS.
2. What type of places does this plant prefer?
3. What 2 significant charms can you use to save your self from this plant's clutches?
4. Describe the appearance of this plant.
5. Why do you suppose it is called 'Devil's Snare'? Explain.
USE YOUR OWN WORDS!
THIS ASSIGNMENT IS ACCEPTED NO LATER THAN JULY 9TH, 2004! I WILL TAKE AWAY POINTS IF YOU TURN IT IN LATE!
If you need help, come to my office on the 5th floor! YOU were a splendid class!
