Theda entered the library and smiled. She had always loved the library here at Hogwarts. It smelled like old leather and parchment. She made her way down the rows, her fingertips trailing along besdie her, toucjing the spine of the books as she passed by. She made her way unerringly to her destination. She pulled down a large leatherbound book and made her way to an empty cubicle. She placed the book on the table before her and sat down. For a few moments she simply sat there with her hands on the book, eyes closed, breathing slowly. She felt her hands begin to grow warm, her fingertips tingled and she picked up the book. She placed the spine firnly and flatly on the table before her. She focused her mind on one thought only "How do I begin my ancient runes class". She gently let go of the book and it balanced on its edge for a moment before the sides flopped open. She opened her eyes and shook her head.
"Of course" she said quietly as she looked at the page before her. A single angular symbol was displayed on the page. "Uruz" she said quietly. The she picked up the book and prepared to go. She walked through the bookstacks slowly and quietly. She felt almost reverent. The large leatherbound book was heavy and cumbersome and she had to be very careful not to bump into the shelves or any of the books that hung out over the edges. Then, despite allher carefulness, she rammed into a long thick book that has hanging precariously out of a shelf as she rounded a corner. "Vexing Hexes" tried to stop he rin her tracks. Theda had learned long ago to not resist such things and grabbed the book from the shelf as well. She thought it would make interesting reading if nothing else. When she finally made her way back to the circulation desk she was tired form carrying not only one great heavy book, but two. She hoped desperatly that she could take a breather at the desk before ocntinuing back to her classroom.
